Dr. Scariano went to Louisiana State University and graduated with a major in Biochemistry in 1972. Afterward, he went to LSU Medical School until 1975. Dr. Scariano completed his residency at Charity Hospital in New Orleans.

Dr. Scariano has many years of Advanced Training with a focus on neurophysiology, epilepsy, pain management, multiple sclerosis, neuropathy, and concussions. Dr. Scariano went to Louisiana State University and graduated with a major in Biochemistry in 1972. Afterward, he went to LSU Medical School until 1975. Dr. Scariano completed his residency at Charity Hospital in New Orleans.

Dr. Scariano has many years of Advanced Training with a focus on neurophysiology, epilepsy, pain management, multiple sclerosis, neuropathy, and concussions. He also has had extensive training completed in numerous medical centers including Mayo Clinic, Rochester Minnesota, Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City, Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Arizona, and Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

Licensed to practice medicine in Tennessee, Dr. Scariano serves as a consulting neurologist for Social Security Administration of the State of Tennessee, Social Security Hearing Board of Disability, Social Security Administration of the State of Virginia, and Social Security Administration of the State of Kentucky.

Board-certified through the American Board of Pain Medicine, he is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians and a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology. Dr. Scariano is also a member of the American Medical Association. He serves on the Advisory Board for Elan Pharmaceuticals and the Advisory Board for Pfizer.
