Raised in NYC, Dr. Pulikkottil was accepted directly into medical school from high school through the extremely competitive Siena/Albany Medical College Early Admission Program. He then completed a demanding five-year General Surgery Residency at Rutgers University.
For the next two years, Dr. Pulikkottil performed research at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, working on face and hand transplant cases. He was then chosen for an elite three-year Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the top-ranked University of Texas at Southwestern, where he worked with aesthetic and reconstructive surgery pioneers.

Dr. Lily Daniali MD, FACS is a double board-certified burn, hand, nerve, plastic surgeon, microsurgeon and craniofacial surgeon. She completed her plastic surgery training with two sub-specialty fellowships in hand and microsurgery and craniofacial surgery. Board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Daniali has an additional certification of qualification in hand surgery. She is a plastic surgeon at the Burn and Reconstructive Center at Swedish Medical Center since 2016, and she has been instrumental in obtaining verification as an accredited American Burn Association burn center in 2022.
Dr. Daniali daily performs the full gamut of plastic and reconstructive surgery, and she provides on call services at the level 1 trauma center and burn center for burn injuries, wounds, soft tissue traumatic injuries, hand injuries, and other complex conditions requiring reconstructive services.
Additionally, she is the medical director of the Center for Wound Healing at Swedish Medical Center with certification in hyperbaric medicine. In her practice, Dr. Daniali provides reconstruction for breast cancer and head and neck cancer patients, encompassing implant based reconstruction, autologous reconstruction, and microsurgical flap reconstruction.
